I was in last night (Thursday) with an out of town friend due to hearing wonderful things about this place. I was instantly greeted and welcomed, even with arriving a few minutes before they opened. I met Jen who was the bartender and later got to meet Denver who what I think was the cook, but helped Jen out in the front as well. These 2 are one hell of a team!!! They were both knowledgeable and fun. No one was without anything at any moment that I seen and we were never without an empty glass. Not to mention the food was GREAT! We will definitely be back! Keep up the amazing work guys!
Here on a Tuesday night. Populated but not packed at 5:30. At 7:30 we joined the weekly trivia game, which was fun. We also lucked out and got a tour of the facilities. Lots of brews on tap. I ordered a sampler of five. Definitely varies in quality. If they have Ridiculous on tap, give it a try. The bar sits six people. The main bar floor seats around 24, and they can open up part of the brew floor to accommodate another seven people. As far as clientele, average age was 40.
They have a kitchen. I ordered a "Kitchen Sink" sandwich, and it was basically a toasted club sandwich. I liked it, but nothing to write home about. The point of this place is the overall ambiance (which you can see in the photos) and the beer. It's a really neat place, and I would definitely come back. Oh, and they can host small events of up to like 65 people.
Delicious, fresh and wonderfully cold IPA. Perfect for a September Kansas day with temps in the mid-80s. Friendly folks and the workers are really nice, too. What a pleasant surprise to find this diamond in the rough!
This is an awesome little craft brewery. I come here every time I'm in El Dorado, Kansas. I especially like their Warbeard Irish Red.
I liked the beer especially the warbeard irish but that is as far as I enjoyed my first time here. They have minimal seating inside, maybe 25-30 and 4 seats with two small tables outside. No one geniunely cared for us to have a table or even be there. It was VERY clicky! If that is your crowd it is for you. Lady out front seemed to know everyone but was EXTREMELY rude to us. I never felt so out of place. So if you aren't in the circle get a growler to go or find some at the liquor store. I won't be going there again . Plenty of brewery's in Wichita. If that is El Dorado people for you I will just try Wichita and hope for better results. SMH...
