Fair-to-middlin' fast food place. Never busy. Staff service wildly variable. Not the cleanest but not really bad. Food quality okay, mostly, with occasional lapses mostly for stale frying oil. Driveway makes very sharp angle to road, watch your car's nose on the way out.
Ordered some fish and fries, I received twice fried/dipped in the fryer fish and fiys. Tasted horrible. Stopped eating it and ordered another one and asked it to be cooked fresh while telling them how bad it tasted. The lady told me they closed in 15 minutes, hence the poor quality food. It was 8:20pm when we got there and 8:40pm, when I ordered the fresh fish. The fresh fish I ordered was hot, but tasted worse than the first one I ordered. There was a mopped floor sign on the floor, yet it was greasy and covered in food. This place is getting dumpy. I like LJS, but not this location. The only positive was the bathroom sink actually had hot water.
Friendly service and fresh, hot food. I would go back next time we are in Eldorado. We had one in Newton but the service and cleanliness got really bad so we stopped going and it went out of business.
Went for lunch today and what a mistake. Food was under cooked except the french fries. The 3 people working looked dirty and not from working dirty. They look like they hadn't bathed in days! (that should of tipped me off). Wasted 12 bucks and 20 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Don't walk from this place............RUN!!!!
One star is too many!, but I HAD to select one before I could post a review! Where has customer service gone to? I'm seriously not happy with LJS!!! We got what they "had left" when we ordered $7+ meals at 8:40 p.m.! There should have been plenty of time to get a meal since they were supposed to close at 9! There was hardly a single order of fries between our orders, the fish pieces were VERY small, and the cole slaw wasn't included at all!!! Then my husband was glared at when he tried to explain that they had let us order, pay full price and that we should get what we paid for, so then I refused to eat and asked the "night manager?", who never made eye contact much less even ask why we wanted it or tried to make a customer happy, for a refund. The only time she spoke was when she had to tell me that I'd now have to run my debit card as credit for our refund. I think they were happy when we left. Will have a very hard time even considering ever going back! My advise? Go somewhere else to eat, period! Hopefully they will close PERMANENTLY soon and someone will open something else who will run it properly! I have posted to Facebook and hoping it will be shared.
